Privacy, explained simply.
SeekSaver is currently a small New Zealand information website. It has no accounts, payments, customer database, contact form, personalised service or marketplace, but it does collect personal information when someone voluntarily sends an email.
No accounts or forms
SeekSaver has no user accounts, customer database or website contact form.
Purpose-limited email
Correction, feedback and privacy emails are used only for the reason they were sent and necessary records.
No added analytics
SeekSaver has not intentionally added analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies.
Who collects and holds information
SeekSaver is a New Zealand business operated by the Founder. SeekSaver collects and holds the information described on this page. The Founder/operator is SeekSaver's Privacy Officer.

What is collected when you email
If you email SeekSaver, the information received may include your name if you supply it, your email address, the email subject, your message, any attachments you choose to include, and personal information contained in those materials.
Emailing SeekSaver is voluntary. If you do not provide enough information to identify the page or issue, SeekSaver may be unable to investigate a correction or reply.
Send only what is necessary. Do not send unnecessary health or financial information, identification documents, passwords, property-sensitive information, or other sensitive personal information.
Why email information is used
Correction, feedback and privacy-contact information is used only as reasonably necessary to:
- review factual correction reports;
- respond to website feedback or privacy enquiries;
- investigate and correct website content where appropriate; and
- maintain necessary correspondence and records.
It is not used for marketing, quotes, lead generation, provider matching, personalised advice or unrelated profiling.
Website and email service providers
Hostinger provides the email infrastructure used by SeekSaver addresses, including routing messages sent to corrections@seeksaver.co.nz into the main mailbox. Vercel hosts and delivers the website and may process technical information such as IP addresses and request or security data needed to operate and protect the service.
These providers and their service infrastructure may process information outside New Zealand. SeekSaver does not claim that website or email information stays only in New Zealand. Where a provider stores or processes personal information on SeekSaver's behalf, SeekSaver remains responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect it.
Retention and security
SeekSaver retains personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the correction, feedback or privacy purpose for which it was supplied, or for a necessary legal or operational record. It should then be deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable.
SeekSaver uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the current small email-based operation and requires personal information to be handled only for its stated purpose. No method of email or internet delivery can be guaranteed completely secure, which is another reason not to send unnecessary sensitive information.
Access, correction and privacy enquiries
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can ask whether SeekSaver holds personal information about you, request access to that information, and ask for incorrect information to be corrected, subject to the Act.

Future changes
This page will be reviewed and updated before SeekSaver introduces material new personal-information collection, analytics, accounts, payments, marketplace functions, personalised AI features or similar higher-risk functionality.
